How to change a tire
Changing a tire is a very important thing that everyone should know how to do. If you have a flat tire, find a safe place to pull off the road and put your hazard lights on. Stop and put the parking brake on. Then, put wheel wedges or something sturdy behind your good tire as a precaution to keep the vehicle from rolling away. Next, if you have a hub cap or wheel cover, take it off. Use the flat end of your wrench to remove it. Then, loosen the lug nuts. Turn the wrench counter clockwise to get them off. Put the jack under the vehicle. Put a piece of wood under the car and put the jack on it. Jack the car up and unscrew the lug nuts. Take the flat tire off and put the spare on. Tighten the lug nuts clockwise. Lower the vehicle and tighten the lug nuts again. Put the hub cap on and put the bad tire wear the spare was. If you have a tire pressure gauge, check the tire pressure in the spare. If it’s a normal pressure, you are good to go. Drive slowly to a repair station and dive with caution. A spare tire is not meant to withstand high speeds. Take your car to a technician and have the spare replaced. With these tips, changing a tire will be much easier.
