Q: Did you plan to be a PE teacher and coach when you were in high school?

A: I did not plan to be a PE teacher in High School. I honestly didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do. I know I loved being active and enjoyed Science. When I went to pick a major for college, I saw Exercise Science and figured that might be a good fit! Ended up loving it

Q: What did you study in college?

A: I studied Exercise Science for my undergrad and Education for my Masters. (and Dr. Gall was one of my professors at Truman)

Q: What is something most students don’t know about you?

A: A few years after college I went and did some overseas mission work using sports as a gateway to create relationships. I was in Australia for about 6 months, then traveled to Jakarta and Singapore. I actually interviewed for a job in Jakarta and almost thought about staying. However, God brought me back and within a few weeks, I had a job at WCA!

Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?

A: We would go on vacations with a large group of friends and family at a resort in Minnesota. I learned to ski when I was 5 on that lake!

Q: What is a random talent you have?

A: I can make my tongue into clovers and I learned how to give myself a lazy eye while sitting in German Class sophomore year.
