On Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m., the Ladies Advent event took place. As they entered the school, the Grand Entry was decorated in festive christmas decorations. Desserts were abundant and a harpist, Megan Stout, played music to add to the atmosphere. As the program began, the ladies moved into the Theatre where Melissa Tarantino, mom of Laura Tarantino, senior, sang a beautiful song. After the song, there was an encouraging talk by Debbie Holley, who is an alumni mom. The ladies sang, “Oh Come All Ye Faithful” to conclude the event.
“The goal for the evening was to give the women an opportunity to focus on the gift of Jesus Christ, with the added blessing of time with their friends,” as described by Lisa Rupperect, Coordinator of Parent Community Relations.
The event was a success as the ladies laughed, ate, fellowshipped, and celebrated the Christmas season.
