Last week, Texas State commit Julia Coleman hit her 1000 Point milestone. The Cats matched up against the Trojans of Troy High School in the first round of the annual new year Wildcat Shootout Tournament. The Cats earned their win beating the Trojans 62-37. She entered the game with 996 points. Her 1000th point was obtained by a quick steal underneath the wildcats basket and a wide open lay up stopping the clock at 2:22 left in the first quarter. Ironically scoring the 12th point of the game, Colman ended the game with 19 points,8 rebounds, and 6 steals. Congratulations Julia!
