St. Charles West Preview: The Final Ride and the Return to the St. Charles Region

Aidan Penberthy

The captains take the field for the customary pregame meetings before the team’s previous journey to the St. Charles area, one that ended in pure heartbreak for the good guys.

Dear Westminster,

It is time for us to return to the St. Charles region. This may be hard for some of our men as the last time this ended in pure heartbreak. We are going back to right some wrongs and head into the battle for the state battles ready for war.

The opponent this week is Camp St. Charles West. They have emerged victorious in seven of their eight battles to date. They have been slaughtering men week by week and it is time for some civilized folk to go into their home and show them what a real camp looks like. Even though they are on the outskirts of known westward expansion, it is rumored that electricity flows freely.

We look to the usual suspects to carry us to another victory. Capt. Davis, Capt. Hicks, Capt. Minner, and Capt. Parres must continue to build off of the Great Eagle Hunt of 2019. We need to consistently attack the so-called “Warriors” with a ferocity that would live up to the Wildcat name.

Defensively, we had much success last week with Capt. Davitt producing a day that the people of Camp Westminster shall not forget anytime soon. He along with Capt. Davidson will have to keep the front seven men anchored in thought, word, and deed.

Our people will be making the trip into God’s country to watch our men defend and fight for the Wildcat spirit to continue on. It will be a little chilly, so make sure you bring lots of warm cloth, and from here on out, we will be going on a tour around the state, beating any camp that thinks they can take what is ours. Wars are won in the fall, and I am afraid that our war has just begun.

With love,
