The freshmen basketball so far this year has been nothing short of dominating. After three close games to open the season, the team has won each of their games by an average of 13 points. Their game on Tuesday was no different, as they gave the Lancers a 48-24 trouncing.
Star guard Jack Andrews, freshman, had suffered another injury in practice the day before, this time a turned ankle. He was unavailable for this game. The game remained close until halftime, but the Cats came out and buried the Lancers in the second half.
The Cats have 11 games remaining. It appears that they have a good shot at going undefeated all season. None of the upcoming teams look to have the firepower to stop the freshmen’s up-tempo attack.
